Olamide has been called out on social media. The reason being, he invited Yomi SARS a.k.a Gucci Mane, a member of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad to perform at his ongoing concert in Teslim Balogun.
Olamide disclosed this information, when he posted a flier announcing Yomi SARS’ performance and this immediately caused verbal attack on Olamide by his fans. These attacks were due to the ongoing #ENDSARS campaign which Nigerians are presently putting out, speaking against the brutality of Nigerian youths by SARS.
With such a campaign going on, Nigerians are finding it difficult to accept that Olamide would be fraternizing with a member of SARS, but Olamide does not seem to care, that’s why he threw this member to their face.
This move by Olamide is making fans see him as an insensitive artiste, who is acting like he doesn’t relate with the cause of the campaign and some are angry enough to advice people to boycott his concert.
