Grammy-nominated singer, Burna Boy, has reacted to actress Funke Akindele’s arraignment
In a series of videos on his Instastory, the singer said that Nigerians deserve the things happening to them
Burna said things would have been better if they used the same energy for the government
For a few days now, the Nigerian social media has been rent with discussions about Nollywood actress Funke Akindele-Bello and the run-in she had with the law.
The Nollywood film star had hosted a birthday party at her abode in Amen estate, Lagos, and videos from the occasion made the rounds on social media
A number of Nigerians were angered by it seeing as the government had ordered a lockdown and for people to stay at home and practise social distancing due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Well, Burna Boy has now commented on the situation. In a series of videos shared on his Instastory, he said that Nigerians deserve the things happening to them.
He also said things would have been better for them if they used the same energy they showed in reporting Akindele to the NCDC on calling out the government.
