Popular Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold has a culture of sending out emails to his dedicated fans as a means of keeping in touch with them or informing them about his latest projects.
However, his recent emails to his fans took a different course as the music star set out to inspire them with one of the experiences he had while hustling his way to the top.
In the mail, Adekunle Gold shared screenshots of his conversation with top music executive, Don Jazzy, at a time when he was still trying to make a name for himself.
Gold had introduced himself as a ‘graphics designer of magnitude’ and offered to design logos for Don Jazzy’s label at the time known as Mohits.
This was followed by the singer flooding the music executive’s DM with several links to songs. He pleaded with him to listen to the songs and also share.
A portion of the conversation also showed how he once referred to the producer as his dad.
