2017 marked a whole new era for the Savanna Comic’s Choice Awards, as they announced the first ever Pan-Africa Award. Nigerian comedian Basketmouth, won the award for the Pan-African comic of the year award, on the 9th September 2017 and was held in Johannesburg, South Africa.
