Nigerian music star, Lamboginny, who is on a musical tour in America became the first African to hold a musical concert in American prison.

‘As the first Nigerian musician to hold a musical performance in a prison in America, I’m humbled to announce that we had a very successful motivational Music concert today with young men behind bars at the Cheshire Correctional Institution C.T USA (Maximum Prison).

I’m glad i could use my voice to motivate young men behind bars as they all sang, danced and prayed with me. It was a moment of healing and forgiveness during the performance when they all held hands in unity promising to change from their old ways. I performed songs from my SALT album and some of the talented inmates also blessed the mic with their voices and two of them also designed my boot with art drawing. I want to specially thank The State of Connecticut Department of Correction , Cheshire Correctional Institution C.T USA and all the officers for granting us the permission to create history today.

Special thanks also goes to my team, the good people that standing by me, Mr Jose, Mrs Liana, Mr Stephen, Mr Andrew, Mrs Tracy, Rev. Bernard Wilson, Mrs Guy Bos, Mrs Teri , Mrs Vernice and my one & only able Manager Mrs Toyin and my Publicist Olayinka (G rugged) and to everyone that supported us with prayers God bless you thank you so much. Pictures and videos from inside the facility coming soon. #SALT 🇳🇬🇺🇸 Saving All Lives Together.
