Nigerian artiste Brymo, aka Olawale Ashimi has  defended his nude video ‘Heya,’ he said that it portrays a bushman living in the city.

According to the singer, the song was an expression of the environment he lives in, he also said that most people are actually are bush, despite the fact that they may live in the city.

In an interview with Sunday Scoop, Brymo made the disclosure, he explained his reasons for making that decision. Here’s what he had to say:

“The song is an expression of my environment. I like to paint as much as I can and I think that most of us are bush people, even though we live in cities.

“The video portrayed a bushman living in the city. If you look around, you wouldn’t see much evidence of civilisation. We did not create most of the things that we use in this country and that’s not good. We need to think.”
