Nigerian singer Teniola Apata has got a thumbs up from the governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, for her comment about Ondo state on social media.

Social media platforms serve as the channel for people to air their thoughts on whatever topics they want to, hence, it is not surprising to read from the Uyo Meyo crooner who talked about her state of origin.

Teni declared that being from Ondo state is a thing of pride. According to the Billionaire crooner, she cannot explain it but the feeling about her position on the Sunshine State is strong.

As expected, natives Ondo state took to her comment section to hail her tweet. Many of them replied to her post with some slangs from the state. Teni’s tweet had over 7, 000 likes and over 1, 000 retweets.

However, the comment that caught the attention of people on the singer’s tweet is that of the Ondo state governor. Quoting the tweet, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu used a popular slang of a Nigerian comedian to reply to the songstress.

The governor told Teni that she is doing well.

Akeredolu’s response seemed to have surprised many Nigerians who noted that they didn’t know that the governor is current with trending slangs among youths.
