Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, recently faced heat from trolls on American singer, Kelly Rowland’s comment section
Kelly had posted a photo of herself and Tiwa admired her look by commenting on how there were no visible stretch marks
A number of people were displeased with Tiwa’s comment as many of them labelled it as dumb
Kelly later stood to Tiwa’s defence by saying that the comment was a harmless one with no mean intention
The Nigerian singer also admired how Kelly did not have any visible stretch marks. However, the comment did not sit well with a lot of people and they dragged Tiwa.
Some over-zealous Kelly fans said that Tiwa’s comment was dumb and that comment like hers are what makes others insecure about their bodies.
Soon after, Kelly Rowland took to the comment section to come to Tiwa’s defence. According to her, the comment was not intended to harm anybody and it was supposed to be a complement that many people took in a negative way.
She also warned her fans not to attack Tiwa, whom she described as her dear friend.
Kelly wrote: “I just saw some of these comments fired at my girl @tiwasavage, How could this compliment be taken in a negative way? If you are on my page, coming for her, please get off! She had NO ill intent with her comments! She is a dear friend, and like I’ve said before, we DO NOT attack ANYONE on my page, but especially those I am close to! Have beautiful day!”
