Birthdays are special occasions that come only once a year and the events of the day can get the celebrant acting mushy, African Giant or not.
Just recently, top Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy, clocked a year older. On July 2, 2020, the music star celebrated his 29th birthday to the joy of fans.
The self-acclaimed African Giant no doubt has the personality of a tough person who is not easily moved by displays of affection but he was definitely touched by the efforts of his mother and other family members on his birthday.
In a video making the rounds on social media, the Grammy nominated singer was seen all smiles after his mother and other loved ones surprised him on his big day.

In the clips, Burna was being serenaded by a trumpeter who played birthday tunes as his family gathered round. Burna who was in casual clothes looked quite impressed and he could not stop smiling.

The singer also got to relive his childhood memories on the bouncing castle that was in his house. Most childhood birthdays had bouncing castles and the birthday boy made sure to take a break from his music to have some fun on it.
