Meanwhile, now that times have changed, there seems to be no more violence but there are still hostilities in the industry.

It is no longer news that there seems to be a hostile relationship between some music lovers in South Africa and Nigeria.

It all started during the xenophobia period in the country that led to Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, threatening SA rapper, AKA, with violence over his comments on the alleged attack of Nigerians in the country.

Well, Burna Boy’s threats against AKA were not taken lightly by his people and it led to a social media war between Nigerians and South Africans

Davido reportedly said: “We need more unity in Africa. Even with the things that happened online with South Africa and Nigeria, I feel like it was just hurting a lot of people in between. We’ve been brothers and sisters for song long.
