The sad news is that some of our top celebrities mingle with this set of people, some Afropop music artist do give them props sometimes, reason is very clear because they do benefit one way or the other from them.
The worst part of been a fraudster is been celebrated and even fraudsters showing off their stolen money, that is very annoying to be honest.
Paul Okoye has slammed fraudsters who show off their wealth on social media, thereby exposing themselves to FBI, Interpol, or EFCC and the likes. His advice is coming following the recent arrests of Dubai-based ‘big boy’ Hushpuppi and Cubana Chief Priest who was also picked up by Nigeria Police yeaterday.
The singer said their forefathers engaged in fraud but they did it “codedly, silently” and with “no show off”
“Una Yahoo Yahoo de shout anyhow, de show off de do anyhow,” he wrote to the fraudsters
He added that the show off is what gets them in trouble with the law.
He also called out the instagram commenters who judge the fraudsters after seieng their photos.
“See make I tell una… Even before FBI, Interpol, or EFCC catch una… Social media and the association of Instagram commenters don judge una case finish.”
