Singer Burna Boy has mourned the passing of young American rapper Pop Smoke
Fans, supporters and colleagues of the music star have used their individual social media pages to mourn the unfortunate death of the music star.
Among those that also joined millions to mourn Pop Smoke is Grammy-nominated Nigerian music star, Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy
According to Burna Boy, he had only spoken to Pop Smoke just a few days ago on FaceTime. He said the rapper had really wanted to come to Nigeria with him.
Burna Boy noted that the news sent him into a state of shock. He prayed for the rapper to rest in peace, adding that the world is unbelievable.
The singer said: “Spoke to @realpopsmoke on FaceTime just a few days ago. He really wanted me to take him to Nigeria. I am in real shock right now. RIP. This world is unbelievable.”

Burna Boy is not the only Nigerian celebrity that mourned the passing of 20-year-old Pop Smoke. Davido’s manager, Asa Asika, also shared a post on Twitter disclosing that there was a music project they were yet to complete before the unfortunate news of his passing.
