Davido has reacted to the news of the nullification of Bayelsa governor-elect’s election
The singer took to social media to recount how he took the news of his uncle losing the Osun governorship election case in court
Ademola Adeleke lost the governorship seat to Isiaka Oyeola in the Court of Appeal.
He tweeted: “I Dey club for New York when Supreme Court give us our own last year !! Casanova just Dey look me say wat happened ? Why u not turning up no more I say Baba wait first my chest ”
The singer who was serving then, was heavily involved in his uncle’s campaign for the Osun state governorship election. Despite the backlash he received from people who stated he was going against the guidelines of NYSC, it did little to stop him.
Davido’s joy knew no bounds following his uncle’s initial victory at the Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Osogbo after he challenge Oyetola’s victory.
However his joy was short lived when barely two months later, the Supreme Court upheld the victory of Oyetola.
