Singer Tiwa Savage has expressed readiness to take to the streets if Nigerians decide to march against the injustices happening in the country. The mother of one said this after a fan asked her.
Many times, Nigerian celebrities have been under fire for not lending their voices to social vices or issues that affect their fans and followers.
The recent incident of a 22-year-old undergraduate after being abused in a church has seen a number of celebrities using their platforms to speak against violence especially as it affects women.
One of the celebrities to lend her voice to the call for justice is Tiwa as she took to her official Twitter page to let the government know that she is tired of all the sad events happening in the country.
eAs expected, some of her followers hailed her tweet. However, one of the singer’s followers identified as Brimah asked the Ma Lo crooner if she would join other Nigerians if they decide to take the fight for justice off social media.
The mother of one responded and said that she has done that before and will do it again.
According to her, she does whatever she talks about. Promising to never stop keeping her promises, the musician encouraged her followers not to be discouraged by critics.
